Dear Club Presidents, Fellow Rotarians,

I would like to remind you that the "RLI Seminar” on the “ROTARY INTERNATIONAL PRIORITIES” will be held on the 20^th of January 2008, at the Century Park Hotel, at 9:00 a.m. with the participation of all Rotarians who like to know more about Rotary.

The objective of this seminar is to enhance Rotary knowledge. Each club must engage with at least three participants.

Therefore, in order to be able to organize the details, I kindly ask you to send me, as soon as possible, the names and number of the participant Rotarians from your club.

"Faculty Orientation" Seminar [Ehden - Lebanon] 27-28 October 2007

Chairman PP Jamil Mouawad is extended invitation on behalf the RLI Lebanon Division to attend the "Faculty Orientation" Seminar

 

As agreed in the last RLI meeting, I have the pleasure to inform you that a "Faculty Orientation" Seminar will be held on the 27^th and the 28^th of October 2007, at Ehden Country Club, with the participation of Rotarians from the clubs of Jordan, Bahrein, Dubai and Lebanon. The international RLI will send one or two trainers to this seminar.

The objective of this seminar is to enhance Rotary knowledge.

An e mail was sent to all Rotary Clubs in Lebanon and each club must engage with two participants, who will be recommended and nominated by the club president.

Therefore, we ask all the clubs to send the names of the participants. A tentative program is attached. More details will be sent to all of you as soon as possible.

PDG Samir Seikaly of Amman, Jordan has been appointed as the International Regional Vice-Chair

 

PDG Samir Seikaly of Amman, Jordan has been appointed as the International Regional Vice-Chair for RLI for the Middle East, Turkey, Central Asian Republics and North Africa . Seikaly is the fifth Regional Vice-Chair of RLI in an effort to bring RLI closer to the regions around the world. Vice-Chair Samir was the governor of District 2450 in 2003-4 and initiated RLI in that district for Cyprus, Jordan and Egypt . Lebanon had previously joined the RLI. The district now consists of 125 clubs in 9 countries. The role of the Regional Vice-Chair is to serve as liaison between the RLI leadership and the region’s divisions, to provide resources to the divisions and to encourage the formation of additional divisions in the region.
